Tribute to John Gray 1958 - 2016
Dedicated to the memory of John Gray
My husband John died in February 2016 after a very short but fierce battle with cancer. John was wonderfully looked after during his final days at St Leonard's Hospice. John was a former member of the PWO (Prince of Wales Own Regiment of Yorkshire) and served his country proudly. When he left the forces John put himself through night school to learn a whole new set of skills and worked as a builders apprentice until he set his own business up.
John remained his usual positive and upbeat self right to the end of his life and was always thinking of others.
